Wroughton

Wroughton children’s and adults martial arts activities and Tae Kwon Do classes are held near Swindon in the area of North Wiltshire, South West England. Martial arts classes in Wroughton near Old Town in Swindon were established in March 2002 and since then we have produced national and regional champions with black belt World and European competitors training and teaching in our tae kwon do classes. All children and adults can achieve black belt after the appropriate number of years of training in our martial arts classes in Wroughton. In the North Wiltshire town of Wroughton near Swindon we currently have the largest training area of 3 badminton courts of any of the Cotswold Martial Arts schools. We are affiliated to the Tae Kwon Do Association of Great Britain (TAGB) which is supported by Sport England.

Directions

To Ridgeway Leisure Centre in Wroughton, nr Swindon from M4:
Exit the M4 and follow signs for Wroughton. Turn left onto Wharf Road and proceed for 2.45 miles. Turn left onto Kerrs Way and proceed for 0.34 miles. Turn left onto Inverary Road and proceed for 0.07 miles. The entrance to the Leisure Centre is on the right at the back of the car park.

To Ridgeway Leisure Centre in Wroughton, nr Swindon from A419: Leave the A419 and follow signs for Swindon. At roundabout near Sun Inn bear left onto Marlborough Road and proceed for approx 1.88 miles. At the 2nd roundabout, take the first exit onto Pipers Way and proceed for 1 mile. At the traffic lights, take the first exit onto Croft Road and proceed for 0.2 miles. Continue onto A4361 and proceed for 0.7 miles. Turn right onto Perry's Lane and proceed for 0.21 miles. Turn right onto Inverary Road and proceed for 0.12 miles. The entrance to the Leisure Centre is on the right at the back of the car park.

Little Ninjas for children aged between 3 years and 6 years

Mrs Victoria Foote teaches Little Ninjas in Wroughton making each lesson fun and educational. Our martial arts classes for 3-6 year olds are very popular and usually we operate a waiting list. We run our class in the main hall of Ridgeway leisure centre, the parents watch from the viewing gallery, which has the perfect birds eye view. The centre also has hot/cold drinks and savoury/sweet snack vending machines. |

Junior Kickers for children aged between 7 years and 11 years

Mrs Victoria Foote teaches Junior Kickers in Wroughton and is assisted by Wroughton black belts. The Junior Kicker tae kwon do class ensures children’s progression in their martial arts learning and is a great introduction to the TAGB syllabus. |

T.A.G.B. Tae Kwon Do for adults and youths over the age of 12 years

TKD will improve your fitness, flexibility and most of all your confidence. TKD is safe practical and most of all enjoyable. Mrs Victoria Foote teaches the Tae Kwon Do class the leisure centre in the main hall where we enjoy a large hall space. These classes are open to all levels including absolute beginners and students with some experience in martial arts. Our first and youngest ever black belt is a member at Wroughton Tae Kwon Do school, having gained his 1st Dan in Oct 2005 at the tender age of 11 years old. |
